Ms. Francine Thompson, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 102 Pony Place in Griffin, GA. Ms. Francine Thompson was the fifth of six children born in Spalding Couny at the local hospital to the late Mr. Jimmie Lee Thompson and Mrs. Mary Dorothy Thompson on August 26, 1967. Ms Francine Thompson served most of her years as a CNA, working at various nursing facilities making provisions for her children. She also grew up as a member at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Preceding her in death is a father, the late Mr. Jimmie Lee Thompson; one sister, Ms. Linda Thompson; one uncle Mr. John White; one niece, Meshanda Raglan. Ms. Francine Thompson leaves to cherish a loving devoted mother, Mrs. Mary Dorothy Thompson, a devoted fiancé , Mr. Ricky Smarr; four loving brothers, David Westmoreland, Kenneth Thompson, Timmie and Dortha Thompson, Ronald Thompson; five loving devoted children, Ricky Smarr Jr., Jessica Smarr (Qwintavis Turner), Lakendra Smarr (Jyrone Street ), Keara Thompson, and Deon Smarr; grandchildren, Labrontis Wright, Azariyah Turner, Jy’Marion Street, Samaria Turner; uncle, Reverend Jessie White; aunts, Lizzie White, Mr. and Mrs. Antelope, Nancy Jackson; nieces and nephews, David Westmoreland Jr. and kids, Arita Westmoreland and kids, Marshall Westmoreland, Timothy Thompson and son, Alexander Thompson and family, Lasonya Thompson and son, Tabitha Henderson and daughter, Breeanna Thompson; cousins, Felicia Driver and family, Canessa Driver and family, Frederick Driver; special aunt, Reverend Alfred Bertha Davis; special friends, Shwanda Puckett, Bessie Anne Berry, Watts and Blandburg Family, Priscilla (Matoa) Blocker, Patricia Evans, and a host of many other family, friends and loved ones. Visitation for Ms. Francine Thompson will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and Friday, March 14, 2014 throughout the day at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
