Mr. Kenneth Rogers October 11, 1942 – May 20, 2012 Mr. Kenneth John Rogers, age 69 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Brightmoor Inpatient Hospice. Mr. Rogers was born on October 11, 1942 in Natrona Heights, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Minnie Etzrodt Rogers; brothers, Richard Rogers and Earl Rogers. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Rogers formerly worked for Eastern Airlines and retired from Northwest Airlines. He enjoyed flying, bowling, racing, tinkering in his shop, spending time with friends, children and 10 grandchildren, and inventing. Survivors include his wife, Jean Rogers, daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and David Fields, Vicki and Neal Wauchope; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Kim Rogers; grandchildren Noel Miller and her husband, Kevin, Jessica Rogers, Nick Brannan, Haley Hoy and her husband Justin, Hannah Wauchope, Abby Rogers, D.J. Fields, Meghan Rogers, Jay Wauchope, Emelia Wanner; sisters, Lois Marietti and Emma Mainhart; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Kenneth Rogers will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Randy Valimont and Reverend Justin Hoy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Westwood Gardens with Revered Mike Barnes officiating.
